Technical production for VegPro's corporate BBQ

Our mandate
Master D handled the event's complete technical management, immediately tackling a major acoustic challenge: delivering clear sound within a massive 160-by-60-foot tent hosting 700 guests. The team installed a 20-by-24-foot stage, complete with a private backstage area enclosed by heavy, opaque black curtains to ensure privacy for the performers.
Sound engineering, crucial in such a reverberant structure, was meticulously managed using a PreSonus StudioLive 32SX digital console. The team deployed a diverse array of microphones to capture every instrument with precision, alongside wireless mics that gave the female vocalists complete freedom of movement. To ensure a flawless performance despite the tent's acoustics, musicians used wireless in-ear monitors with fully customized mixes. Visually, a combination of ambient and finely controlled stage lighting created an immersive atmosphere.
On the logistics front, Master D orchestrated the event schedule, designed the floor plan, and calculated power requirements. They seamlessly coordinated the entertainment lineup, featuring the band Harmonik, a DJ, and an emcee. Finally, the team operated a classic photo booth with on-site printing to capture memories of the celebration.
