Technical production for the Grues Guay gala evening

Our mandate
For the Grues Guay Gala Evening at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, Master D delivered a turnkey technical and logistical event solution. Managing the event’s production, the team handled professional sound reinforcement for the 260-guest venue, ensuring optimal audio coverage for speeches and performances by the band After Hours, percussionist-dancers, and DJ Mike Castiel. This audio component required sophisticated technical management, including miking individual musicians and mixing in-ear monitors for all band members and djembe players. The visual design featured custom stage and ambient lighting paired with HD video projections that transformed the venue's ceiling into a stunning starry sky. Finally, the setup was rounded out by the installation of 70 feet of stage drapery and the operation of a virtual photo booth, much to the guests' delight.
